Bringing my years of therapy experience to our work together

My name is Beth Wocks, Registered Masters Social Worker. Master ART Practitioner and Certified Sandtray Therapist. I have worked with children, youth and families since 2004, with the last 8 years focused on child and adolescent mental health. Specializing in brain based counselling for Anxiety, ADHD, Trauma, Phobias and Depression. As a wife and mother I understand the concern parents feel for their children and how challenging it can be to ensure services are a good fit for your family. I also understand how images can become distressing and paralyzing. When working with children and teens, I believe in the importance of providing parent support and education, empowering YOU to know how to help your kid. When working with adults, you need to be in the drivers seat.

Shifting the imaginative powers of the Anxious, ADHD and Traumatized brain

Using creative therapies, such as Sandtray Therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), I love watching clients heal and discover who they are designed to be. I have helped many youth embrace their ADHD and discover the strengths of their creative mind. The anxiety filled youth reclaim sleep, reduce panic and return to their more cheerful self. And the distressing images and sensations from trauma (through ART) become distant and clients being to reconnect with life again. As growth occurs, it is amazing watch families and relationships reconnect.
